A one day re-assessment course which will allow you to work on LPG appliances in permanent dwellings (only on appliances for which you already hold a natural gas ACS qualification).

The cost is subject to a £90 standard certification fee.

If you would like to work on LPG in other situations, for example, caravans, boats or residential park homes, then additional qualifications will be required. Please see here for a full list of LPG qualifications offered at ECTA.

Initial

With the introduction of IGE/IG1, Guidance Note 8 (GN8) for ACS has been reviewed and amended. GN8 now requires all new entrants to the gas industry to undertake appropriate training and on site experience. The revision to GN8 also includes new pre- requisite training requirements for experienced operatives intending to extend their scope of work or range of certification.
