Spotlight on Gas Safety Management

Summary

If you are not a qualified gas engineer, it can be challenging to manage or supervise gas work as part of your role, but not always an option to pursue standard gas qualifications. The suite of Level 4 Gas Safety Management courses offered by ECTA are nationally recognised qualifications which allow you to gain a good technical and legislative knowledge as a distance learning programme, working at your own pace.

The courses take around 12 months to complete, and allow you to study at your own pace. The structured programme allows you to concentrate on one unit at a time, with support from the ECTA training team throughout.

Also available are one day Level 2 Gas Safety Awareness qualifications, which will give an overview of Gas Safety Legislation, the symptoms and effects of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, and advice on spotting dangerous gas appliances. This course is particularly suitable for those who deal with the General Public, whether over the phone or visiting residents’ properties.
